MOBILedit Forensic 9.1 released

We've added support for Android 8.0 and iOS 11 beta, new phones and iPads supported and the update brings many other new improvements.


What's new in MOBILedit Forensic 9.1

  • Reads messages from phones using Bluetooth MAP (Message access profile)
  • Reads call history from phones using Bluetooth PBAP (PhoneBook Access Profile)
  • Retrieves STK menu from international SIM Cards (Unicode app name support)
  • Shows name of Bluetooth connected phones
  • Reports version of software that performed data extraction (for cases, when report is created later using newer version, but the data were extracted in an earlier version)
  • Shortcuts to application data folders under Application Data on Android phones and tablets - number of shortcuts depends on root status of device
  • Shortcuts to application data folders and group data folders under Application Data on iOS phones and tablets - requires jailbreak
  • Fixed SIM Card case not showing phonebook in UI (it was available in report only)
  • Fixed sorting of cases by date not working properly with certain local settings
  • Shortcut to application data folder in application list (rooted android phones only)
  • Android 8.0 support

  • Report now contains index for indexed phonebook (e.g. phonebook storage slot position on simcard)
